AI at work
Get Excel to do whatever you need
You know SUM. Maybe VLOOKUP on a good day. That's enough now. Describe what you want in plain English and AI gives you the formula, the steps, or the finished result.
1
AI writes it, you run it
Describe your columns and what you want. The AI gives you the exact formula or the exact clicks.
Your data never leaves Excel, so it works even where uploading work files isn't allowed.
2
AI does the work
Upload the spreadsheet and ask questions. Get answers, charts, cleaned files and a written summary back.
The fastest route, when your company's AI policy allows it.

Before you use AI with work data
- Check your company's AI policy. Many workplaces provide an approved tool, like Microsoft Copilot or a business plan of ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Use that rather than a personal account.
- Never upload confidential or personal data (customer details, salaries, health information) to a personal AI account. Remove those columns, or use route 1 instead.
- Check before you send. Compare at least one total with your own. AI is very good with data, but your name is on the report.
